He recreates the nostalgic buildings and landscape which are so distinctive to our city.
Nev Logan is a well recognised local watercolourist with a particular affection for townscapes, street and harbour scenes concentrating mainly on buildings and boats, including some of Brisbane’s iconic buildings.
Aleida van der Hoogte’s new paintings for this exhibition present a vibrant ‘moment-in-time’ social observation extracted from Brisbane’s famous Ekka and also of some of Brisbane well known landmarks.
