Warwick is interested in the exploration of the relationship between actuality and reality, between what is out there and the extraordinary and varied ways our senses render it into consciousness. Warwick has been producing surrealist, abstract and various other forms of artwork since the early nineteen seventies. He works with photographic images, collage, oils, acrylics, house paint and whatever is else lying about.
Influenced initially by the early surrealists, Warwick has developed an eclectic style that seeks to highlight the relationship between ordinary things and their surroundings. He also explores the notion of taking certain things out of the comfort of their usual surroundings and placing them in a juxtaposition that demands a different interpretation by the viewer.
