Virginia Daniels creates contemporary realism paintings and drawings of the Australian Outback, based on her lifetime of experince on cattle properties and as a horsebreaker and drover. She is an equine specialist, and her incredibly lifelike and detailed paintings of horses and rural life are highly sought after. She is fascinated by light and form, muscularity and the essence of her subjects, which has led to an exploration of the female form. Her paintings tell a story, and invoke a powerful emotional reaction in the viewer.
