Frogs On Toast are a multi 'MO' and ACE Award Nominated comedy show band. FROGS ON TOAST has set the benchmark in Australia for live comedy/cabaret. FROGS is comedy, cabaret, dance and showband all rolled into one.
What makes ‘FROGS’ unique?
FROGS ON TOAST has put the fun back into live entertainment with a totally unique concept which is thrilling audiences around Australia. FROGS appeals to every age demographic and satisfies all who come to see the show because it has diverse appeal. For instance, those who want to dance the night away can do so to fantastic and exciting music from the 70’s to today’s hits.
Those who prefer to sit and watch the show do not have a dull moment for the entire night! There is always something happening. A usual comment after the show is “we’ll want to see the show again -so much was happening, we missed some of it so we’ll be back”.
What exactly is the THEME in FROGS ON TOAST?
The theme is French, hence the reference to ‘Frogs’ and the flamboyant costuming reflects the theme throughout the show. The three main characters are:
Madame Moselle, who is in charge and thinks she is tres sexy but is definitely NOT! Being French, she hates everybody.
M’moiselle Ooh La La, the blonde bombshell who can never get anything right and who IS sexy and.... well, blonde!
Fifi, a sexy female Gendarme who is over-confident, meddlesome and good at making sure the blonde gets the blame for everything.
Frogs On Toast have been nominated two years in a row (2003/2004) at the Australian Entertainment ‘MO’ Awards presentation night at the Entertainment Centre in Sydney for the ‘VARIETY GROUP OF THE YEAR’ Award, they’ve also been nominated for an ACE Award 2004. FROGS ON TOAST is in hot demand with forward bookings well into the year.
