Born in Zurich (Switzerland) 1943 and educated in an advertising, design and marketing agency. After early retirement in 2000 Immigration to the Sunshine Coast Australia was a live long dream.
Painting since age 22, mostly self-taught (as time allowed) and started studying studied the work Georgia O’Keeffe, E. John Robertson USA amongst other famous artists.
I started painting full time in recent years.
Painting for me is another dimension of language. It is for me a form of communication where an image or a part of it can say far more, more profoundly and more rapidly than it would be possible with words.
The concept of making people’s emotions and longings the focus of my paintings and seeking what can hardly be expressed in by words, fascinates me.
